Release the tensions of the week and immerse yourself in the transformational sounds and vibrations of a Sound Bath with Trish, Certified Soundhealing Practitioner with the Soundhealing Academy.
Settle down for an hour of pure bliss and let the sounds wash over you. Allow the Soundscapes to take you to a deeper state of rest and relaxation which in turn can rebalance the mind and body.
The session will start with a guided meditation which will lead into a beautiful sound bath using sound healing instruments such as a Monolini, Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Crystal Harp, Nepalese Wind Gong, Frame Drum, Ocean Drum, Zaphir Chimes.
Sound healing has many benefits that can include:
Improved sleep and memory, reduced stress, decreased anxiety and depression, lowered blood pressure and profound relaxation.
Please wear comfortable clothes, bring a a yoga mat or something to lie down on, a pillow and warm blanket,( eye mask/hot water bottle if you want to be extra cosy). A bottled drink of water is also advisable.
Doors will open at 6:50 pm so you can set up your space in the hall and get yourself comfortable. I will lock the doors at 7pm to ensure the space is as peaceful as can be so we can start on time.
Everyone welcome, 16 years and over.
Ultimately, soundbaths are intended to be non-judgmental and inclusive environments where everyone is encouraged to achieve relaxation in their own way and sometimes this will lead to snoring or involuntary actions during deep relaxation. If snoring bothers you greatly, I would encourage you to book a 1-2-1 session with a facilitator as my group session may not be for you. I will always encourage people who know they snore to lie on their sides but cannot guarantee 100 percent silence from all participants during my sessions.
**Please note that this event is not suitable for people with epilepsy (especially sound induced), pregnant (particularly 1st trimester) and people with severe mental health disorders, or anyone fitted with an electrical device such as a pacemaker**
