This month we explore the world of self-publishing and what it really takes to bring a book to life.
Our guest speaker, publisher Lisa Browning of One Thousand Trees, will share an overview of the publishing process and what authors should know when considering the self-publishing route. From the early stages of developing an idea to the steps involved in getting a book into readers’ hands, Lisa will provide insight into the journey behind publishing.
We’ll also hear from authors Lisa Ivaldi (InsightClarityGrowth) and Sarah Kinlin (Pearl Performance Inc.), who will share their personal experiences writing and publishing their own books. They’ll speak about the challenges, lessons learned, and what it was like navigating the publishing process.
The evening will include a formal presentation followed by a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights from those who have gone through the experience.
