Guaranty Bank Cooper Young Festival 2024 – Adds a Children’s Entrepreneur Market!
Join us for the 36th Guaranty Bank Cooper Young Festival on Saturday, September 14, 2024. We invite you to celebrate all things Memphis in the largest and oldest historic district dating back to 1849. Hand-made art from Memphis and across the United States and great local Memphis music are what we are all about. We kick up the fun on this one Saturday each year.
We will be hosting the first ever, Children’s Entrepreneur Market, in Memphis during the CYFEST. The CEM is an outdoor farmer’s / craft market run entirely by kids! The CEM started with three locations in Utah back in 2017 and has successfully expanded to 24 new states and are rapidly growing nationwide! Being in 102 markets, this has allowed over 14,500 youth vendors to participate. The children make their crafts, put up their booths, stage their item for sale and sell them.
Any entrepreneurs ages 5 to 17 can participate in the Market. Children can sell anything handmade, store-bought, games or services. All booths are a 10’ x 10’ space and families bring all their own supplies i.e. table, chairs, canopy. Registration is online at www.childrensentrepreneurmarket.com. Look up the Memphis market for September 14 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Cost to participate is only $25. The Market will be in the First Congregational Church parking lot at the corner of Cooper Street and Walker.
