Our Newham Business & Enterprise in partnership with Newham College, University of East London (UEL) and Newham Chamber of Commerce (NCC) will be hosting an information session for businesses to find out about apprenticeships. Learn how apprenticeships can help you grow your workforce or upskill existing staff, including access to funding, available support and the process for hiring an apprentice.

• From entry-level frontline staff, to developing current and future managers, learn about the range of skills development programmes available for businesses in Newham that can develop diverse talent pipelines, boost productivity and support sustainable growth.
• This event is for Newham employers interested in taking on an apprentice or upskill existing staff. If you can offer 30 hours of work per week and pay a weekly wage, come along to learn more about how apprenticeships work and the support available.
• Hear directly from employers and experts through a panel discussion on the business benefits of apprenticeships and real-world experiences.
• Understand how to access funding, including the apprenticeship levy, to support training for new and existing employees.
• Hear from local SME and apprentice on their journey
