A hands-on day learning how to grow flowers you can cut and bring indoors
Spend a day on the farm learning how to grow your own flowers for cutting—simple, seasonal, and achievable at home.
This is a practical, down-to-earth workshop where you’ll get stuck in. We’ll focus on the kinds of flowers that are easy to grow and generous to cut, and show you how to create a small but productive patch, whether you’ve got a garden, an allotment, or just a few pots.
You’ll work with the season, get your hands in the soil, and leave with the confidence to start growing.
On the day, you’ll:
Learn which flowers are worth growing for cutting
Look at how a working cutting patch is set out
Get hands-on sowing seeds and spacing plants
Understand how to keep flowers coming through the season
Learn when and how to cut so they last well indoors
There’s no overcomplication—just straightforward, useful guidance and a chance to spend time outside working with the soil and seeds.
Expect a relaxed day, a bit of mud, and plenty of ideas to take home and try for yourself.
