Group Riding Basics - Learn to Ride with a Group

Do you want to learn to ride in a group? Do you see all these group rides posted on Facebook and think, "That'd be fun but I have no idea how to ride with other people." Are you a solo rider and want to start participating in group rides? Did you just buy a bike or upgrade to another bike? Are you ready and prepared to go on road trips? Do you know what road hazards to watch out for? Then this is the perfect moto class for you!!
Come as you are and bring your questions and inexperience, and on this easy ride we'll learn a few common techniques and practice on a few different types of roads.
Class starts at 11:00AM Sharp at the Harley Davidson Fort Bragg parking lot (east side area).

We will add some educational materials and video links to this event post under the "discuss" tab so you can prepare for the upcoming class. Our goal is to create a culture of safety minded individuals. The purpose is to prepare you for your first group ride.
As always with The Riderz Foundation events, this ride is available to anyone with a motorcycle and a desire to learn, meet new people and have fun with other riders. So invite your friends! Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced riders are welcome. Anyone is welcome! All styles of bikes are welcome. All we ask is that your bike is in good working condition and that you are safety minded of all riders in the group.
If you've done group rides before and just want an easy cruise where you can provide a positive example to your fellow riders, please come and participate! We always welcome new volunteers who are seasoned riders and know the etiquette of group riding.

VOLUNTEERS/EXPERIENCED RIDERS:
We will need some volunteers during this ride. Must be experienced in leading a big group of bikes. Please contact us at 336-470-1476 or email us at [email protected] Or when you RSVP, please make sure to let us know you will be volunteering.
We are looking for committee members in NC who wish to volunteer their time and knowledge and to be part of The Riderz Foundation. We plan to have quarterly meetings once a year to go over the riding events that are planned for the year. If you want to be part of this amazing foundation, please fill out the volunteer form below:
