The Group Otago Exercise Program is designed especially for older adults who want to improve balance, build strength, and feel more confident in their everyday activities. This gentle, proven fall‑prevention program uses simple, effective exercises that are tailored to your individual abilities—so you can move safely and comfortably at your own pace. Classes meet twice a week in a friendly, social group setting that encourages connection and support.
Research shows that the Group Otago Program can reduce the risk of falls by up to 40%, helping you stay active and independent. Participants receive ongoing guidance, including regular physical therapy evaluations every 16 weeks. Classes are free with Stilly Valley Center membership.
