This holiday is based in the Ironbridge Gorge close to the River Severn on the Shropshire Hills eastern flanks. We cover the Ironbridge Gorge area and also the Shropshire Hills around Church Stretton.
Our guided walking for solos programme is designed to give the walker the best of this lovely countryside – and we have chosen some fabulous walks for you.
We walk on the first afternoon, then four more days. We lunch in one of Shropshire or Ironbridge’s historic country inns. This holiday is run by local guides who have a vast knowledge of this beautiful area. We stay at the Valley Hotel, in the Ironbridge Gorge.
Walking is moderate, some ascending and descending – there are valley’s and moors after all, and you should be walking fit.
