Botanical Grid Workshop
Join artists Sam Waters & Jan Austin for a relaxed and inspiring half-day workshop exploring botanical printing and collage. You’ll create your own beautifully layered artwork using real leaves, acrylic paint, a Gelli plate, and a curated collection of vintage and specialty papers.
In the morning, you’ll print a variety of textures and colours using botanical forms. In the afternoon, you’ll select your favourite prints, cut them into strips and squares, and assemble your own unique botanical grid collage on a pre-prepared wooden panel.
You’ll leave with:
• A finished artwork ready to hang or frame
• New skills in Gelli plate printing and collage
• A warm glow from creative play and community

All materials are provided, and there will be frames available to purchase on the day.

No Pressure, Just Play!
It is advised, at this time, to bring a liquid refreshment with you. At the time of publishing, we are awaiting confirmation whether the Peacock cafe at the Jackfield Tile Museum will be open or an alternative refreshment cart will be provided by the National Trust.
