We are delighted to welcome our new Coach Michael Cartmell to Fairhaven Lawn Tennis Club and he will be running sessions or players of all ages from Saturday 18th October and you can contact him direct on 075232866116 to organise joining a group or having individual coaching.
Michael is an LTA Level 3 Tennis Coach, Level 2 Padel Instructor, Pickleball Coach, Level 3 Personal Trainer and Licensed Tournament Referee. He’s been coaching across Lancashire for several years and loves making sport fun and welcoming for everyone – from tots picking up a racket for the first time, through to players in their 90s, and even those training at performance level. Michael also holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health in Sport, bringing a positive, supportive approach to all his sessions. His favourite shot is his backhand, and he’s always keen to pass on tips to help players find their own strengths. Alongside coaching, Michael runs holiday camps and multi-sport sessions, so there’s always something for everyone. He’s really looking forward to meeting players at the club and helping more people enjoy tennis, padel, pickleball and fitness.
