About the workshop: The workshop will be split in several parts that build onto each other. The level is intermediate to advanced, if you want to come to the advanced part on Sunday you are required to take the Saturday technical unless you can show us your past experience. Please write us in this case. Naturally, for group acro we need lots of bases and middles, so if you are a solo flyer that wants to join please text us beforehand, so we can keep the ratio even.
Saturday 11:15 am - 4:15 pm:
Spotting:
We all know partner acrobatics and how rewarding it can be to practice it. We have also all quickly realized the potential danger of this sport.
In this workshop we are going to go through basic and advanced spotting drills that everyone should know, specially when moving into group acrobatics where skills quickly build up to higher potential risks. These drills are beneficial to everyone, both bases and flyers.
Banquine:
Banquine is one big part of group acrobatics, its the basic tool we use in dynamic tricks.
During this weekend, we will go through the theory behind it in detail.
All the drills that will make your banquine feel more comfortable than your home couch. And how to fly on it.
Afterwards open jam

Columns/Towers:
Got your 2 high under control? So you think! Learn how to base and fly to build higher.
We work on drills to build 3highs or even 4 highs if you prove me you are there.
Advanced group acro:
In this last workshop, we are going work on different group skills depending on your level.
Some ideas are:
-dynamic passing the flyer
-Thigh throws or “Touche”
-Variations of 3 man highs or 2.5 man highs
-Banquine Transfers
And more depending on your level
About the teacher:
Born under the name of Bechara, but best known as Tuco (@tucopata), he was born in the USA, grew up in Guatemala, and studied in Europe. This seasoned traveler has no home-base.
With many years experience in training and coaching strength and conditioning, Tuco stumbled upon partner acrobatics in Sweden, where he quickly developed as a base with tutelage and classes from coaches of Cirkus cirkor, SaS and DOCH. After many years of practice he is now part of, The Copenhagen Collective project.
Previously, Tuco has dazzled the crowds of local cabarets and night clubs in Florida, he also loves sharing his passion of acrobatics, and has taught in various acro festivals around the world, such as Acrohio, French acrobatics convention, Dutch acrobatics convention, Miami acro festival, Vancouver acrofest and more! Now, as a base of the Copenhagen Collective Team, Tuco is lifting all the boundaries and elevating people to new levels of awesome.
When he is not tossing people through the air, Tuco will be going on long walks in nature, freezing in icebaths, riding his bicycle, pumping iron in the gym and enjoying calm evenings with friends at home and playing boardgames.
