Groundswell Grind 2024Official practice, check in and registrations - 10am

The Groundswell Grind skateboard bowl competition will see skateboarders of all ages and skill levels roll in one Australia’s biggest bowls. The Scarborough beach bowl will be the center point for the Groundswell festival in a spectacle of grinds, slides high airs and tricks that will carve up the competition. With categories for 9 years and under, 12 years and under, 16 years and under and the open class in both men’s and women’s along with the masters class for riders over 40 years there is a spot for all competitors. Men's and Women's Open division will have equal prize money, sharing $3000.

COMPETITOR REQUIREMENTS
All competitors must be able to drop in and jump out of the bowl
All competitors will require to wear a helmet. Your future mental health is a priority let alone seeing you have a seizure on the floor of the bowl because you smacked your head.
