This Black History Month, Groovy Sundays invites you to The Black Out — a night rooted in music, culture, and the energy that only Black spaces hold.
We’re honoring 100 years of Black history the Groovy way: through live sound, shared rhythm, and a room full of people who understand the assignment. Expect soulful vocals, raw lyricism, live instrumentation, and an atmosphere that feels intimate, expressive, and alive.
This isn’t a lecture — it’s a celebration. A reminder that Black culture has always been the blueprint, the soundtrack, and the heartbeat. From neo-soul to hip-hop to spoken word, the night flows through a curated showcase, open mic, and jam session that brings artists and audience together as one.
