Who is Gregory Goodloe:
Gregory Goodloe is a Billboard-charting jazz guitarist, composer, and producer known for his smooth yet soulful blend of jazz, R&B, and groove. Hailing from Denver, he gained national recognition with his #1 Billboard hit "Stylin'" and other standout tracks like "Step ‘n Out" and "In Paradise." His dynamic performances have captivated audiences at major jazz festivals and venues, and he has collaborated with industry greats like Nick Colionne, Norman Connors, and Ragan Whiteside. With his signature melodic style, Goodloe continues to be a rising force in contemporary jazz.
Who is Tony Exum Jr.:
Tony Exum Jr. is a dynamic saxophonist who seamlessly blends Contemporary Jazz, R&B, and Funk into an electrifying musical experience. Gaining international recognition with his 2019 hit “My Name’s Tony,” he has since graced major festivals like the San Diego Smooth Jazz Festival and Winter Park Jazz Festival. A radio host on Jazz 93.5 FM and a Global Brand Ambassador for Kastell Vodka, Tony continues to push musical boundaries. With two acclaimed albums, chart-topping singles like “Hold My Hand,” and collaborations with legends such as Najee and Julian Vaughn, his “Rhythm N Smooth” sound captivates audiences worldwide.
The inaugural festival will be held Thursday, April 3 through Sunday, April 6, 2025, in venues throughout the Denver and Boulder metro areas. Emphasis will be on Denver’s downtown and the historic Five Points cultural district. April was chosen to coincide with Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM), which celebrates America’s only indigenous art form — recognized by joint houses of Congress as a National Historic Treasure. Also occurring each April is International Jazz Day, which highlights the role of jazz in uniting people worldwide.
Spangalang Brewery is a Black owned, Jazz themed, brew pub and live event venue located in the heart of the Historic Five Points neighborhood, known as the Harlem of the West.
