We’re thrilled to present our newly rebranded annual Summer production this August at the Southern Theater, this year including a screening of exciting jazz dance films! Though the format and name of this annual Summer production has shifted throughout the years, it has always delivered fresh, vibrant takes on staged works inspired by jazz and American social dance ideas from exciting movers and shakers in the field. The production continues our tradition of commissioning the creation of new work by local choreographers while providing opportunities for dance artists who are based outside of Minnesota to show their work here. The 17th installment of our annual Summer program features a cohort of excellent artists serving up rhythm-driven dance that will move you:
