Get ready to dance your heart out! This is a class for ALL fitness levels and dance backgrounds! ANYONE CAN DO THIS! You will experience a variety of dance styles and music from Pop or Latin to Creative Functional to Tribal and everything in between! It’s all about creative expression, so the choreography piece stays simple to get you out of your head and into your body! GROOVETM keeps participants united in the dance, while allowing plenty of space for your own unique creativity and expression to come alive! This class provides a light-hearted opportunity to be present in your own personal human experience while fostering connection/community in a safe and encouraging environment.Each session will offer 50 minutes of dance/movement, followed by stillness/ meditation and ending with a check-in/integration practice.
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Karen Davis King has been a certified GROOVETM facilitator, as well as a meditation and workshop facilitator for nearly 13 years, teaching at festivals, yoga/wellness studios, dementia and assisted living facilities, special events and a variety of fitness centers and she loves sharing her passion for dance and creative expression!
