🎁 Five (5) giftboxes akin to your in-game ones will be hidden along Market Street and Broadway in downtown Logansport between 5th and 7th Streets. If you find one, ping djravenwolfe on Campfire of Discord. If you find one before 2:00, please leave it be so everyone can participate at the start of the event! You will need the standalone Campfire app to access the server for your hints! **If it is raining between 1:00 and 1:30, there will be no scavenger hunt!**

We will also be giving away a special gift from Level Up Cards and Collectibles to the winner of the following category:
- Most Shiny Featured Pokémon with Special Background Caught
Also, if you check in on Campfire and show up to the restocking party at 5:00, you will be entered into a special giveaway!

The three-hour Incense bonus excludes Daily Adventure Incense and the one-hour Lure bonus excludes Golden Lure Modules.
While most bonuses are only active during the three hours of the event (2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time), these bonuses will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.

- Trades made will require 50% less Stardust
== Features ==
**Featured Attack**
Evolve Thwackey (Grookey’s Evolution) during the event or up to four hours afterwards to get a Rillaboom that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.
**Frenzy Plant (Grass-type)**
- Trainer Battles: 100 power
- Gyms and raids: 100 power
**Attack Availability Updates**
Starting with the event and continuing afterwards, Rillaboom will be able to learn the Charged Attack Drum Beating.
**Drum Beating**
- Trainer Battles: 60 power and lowers the opposing Pokémon’s Attack by one stage
- Gyms and raids: 115 power
**Photobombs**
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise! During the event you can snap an AR Photo and get photobombed by Grookey.
**Lure Module Bonus**
From 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time, Grookey will have a very high chance of appearing at PokéStops with active regular Lure Modules.
Grookey attracted to regular Lure Modules will still have an increased chance to be Shiny and may have a Special Background. That’s more chances to encounter the featured Pokémon even after the event hours!

Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops featuring Grookey and Rillaboom.

**Field Research Tasks**
January Community Day–themed Field Research will be available! Catch Grookey to earn rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, additional encounters with Grookey, and more! You may even find Field Research that leads to encounters with Grookey that have a Special Background—if you’re lucky!
The following tasks will have encounters with Special Backgrounds.
**Note: These tasks are not confirmed and are based on previous Community Days.**
