Come join us at Nurtured Minds Retreat- Wizard Lake for a special event focused on learning to live alongside grief and to honor it with the love it deserves.
This retreat is a safe space for those who are grieving to come together, share their stories, and support one another on their journey toward healing.
Grief and Loss can take many forms:
- Loss of a family member, friend or pet
- Loss of identity
- Loss of relationships or friendships
- Loss of a healthy or able body
- Loss of expectations/ life plans
The confusing, and at times, intense emotions of loss can make you feel like there’s something wrong with you. But here’s the thing; you were never the problem. You just didn’t have someone in your corner guiding you through a new approach to loss and honouring your feelings.
A one-day retreat for folks who have lost something or someone.
Learn the art of honouring your sorrow with this one-day retreat designed for deeply feeling humans. Feel the feelings without anyone dismissing your grief, learn to honour your grief, and start finding peace. In this one-day retreat, we can't take your pain away but we can hold space for you to try and embody it.
Our day will start with some gentle movement to awaken the senses, followed by a slow forest walk. A sharing circle will take place (no obligation to share, listening can be helpful too) and some free time over lunch will follow. From there we will move into some reflection activities around grief and loss before finishing with Yoga Nidra (no movement, guided meditation) to integrate all your experiences of the day.

Please note: The fee is refundable, less a $25 cancellation charge, until 72 hours before the events start date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of an events start date WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Missed events are not eligible for reduced fees or refunds. Events may be cancelled if sufficient enrollment is not achieved; refunds will be given in such a case.
