Honoring grief and the grieving process (however people define it for themselves), a variety of community partners are pitching in to facilitate a day of supported reflection, nourishment, and healing.
With generous support from Pathfinders, Aspen Hope Center, and Aspen Institute's Hurst Community Initiative – along with a growing number of local agencies, direct service providers, mental health professionals, clergy, restaurants, musicians, and media sponsors – we call on one another to show up in support of this unique community-driven event.
Free and open to the public, running from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, October 20th at True Nature in Carbondale, this soulful event offers a series of interactive experiences, including guided breathwork, meditation, journaling, personal reflection exercises, informal discussions, as well as immersive musical performances and nurturing refreshments from Village Smithy, Phat Thai and Dos Gringos.
With an open invitation to join us in community with friends, family, and neighbors near and far – you are invited to come share in this uplifting moment of pause, contemplation, feeling, and healing – as we honor grief as an essential component of individual and collective wellbeing.
