In memory of Nathaniel Petway, this donation-based event inspired by Grief Is Love offers a compassionate space to explore and honor grief.
About this Event

This is a heartfelt event in loving memory of Nathaniel Charles Petway (Dec 10, 2010). Inspired by Grief Is Love by Marisa Renee Lee, this donation-based event offers a safe, compassionate space for anyone navigating loss—especially during the holidays.

Together, we’ll explore grief as a reflection of love through guided discussions and reflective activities, including: Understanding Grief as Love, Validating Your Grief, A Letter to My Grief, Grief in Relationships, Embracing Emotional Duality, and Living the Legacy, where attendees can bring or wear items to honor their loved ones.

Guests may attend in person or virtually. Light snacks, materials for activities, and thoughtful gift bags will be provided for in-person participants. This gathering isn’t about “moving on”—it’s about honoring the love that remains and finding gentle ways to carry grief forward.
