🐾🩺 Welcome to Junior Vet Camp! 🐶🐴
Calling all future veterinarians and animal lovers! At Junior Vet Camp, campers will step into the exciting world of veterinary medicine through hands-on activities, interactive learning, and real-life experiences with animal care and health.
This immersive camp is designed for curious students who want to explore what it’s like to work with animals and learn how veterinarians help keep them healthy, safe, and thriving.
✨ Campers will explore:
- 🦴 Animal anatomy and how animal bodies work
- ❤️ The importance of animal welfare and compassionate care
- 🩹 Common veterinary terms and medical language
- 🏥 Veterinary practices and daily responsibilities in animal clinics
- 🔬 How to safely use real veterinary tools and equipment
- 🐾 Hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences
- 👩⚕️ Conversations with veterinary professionals and experts in the field
From learning how veterinarians examine animals to practicing skills used in clinics, campers will gain valuable knowledge while building confidence and teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment.
🥪 Lunch will be included daily so campers can stay energized for a full day of learning and adventure!

9 am - 3 pm at the Greenville County Extension Office, located at 352 Halton Rd. Greenville, SC 29607. Some travel will be involved.

Refund statement: Full payment is due upon registration. No refunds will be issued within three weeks of the start of the event.
Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership in is required for participation in this event.
Custodial Care: Youth must be approved, enrolled members in 4HOnline with South Carolina 4-H Youth Development to attend this event. This is a custodial care event. Only adult chaperones and invited facilitators approved to be at the event will be allowed onsite during this event. Youth must be signed in and signed out by a parent/guardian or designated representative.
