Celebrate Earth Week in Port Hope with two free community events focused on sustainability, learning, and local action. Join the Port Hope Environmental Advisory Committee for their second annual Sustainability Expo, a vibrant, all-ages event showcasing the inspiring work happening right here in our community. Explore live demonstrations, hands-on exhibits, youth showcase, and practical tips for creating your own green solutions at home. It’s a great opportunity to meet local groups, discover innovative ideas, and learn how you can contribute to a greener future.
There is also a Community Clean-Up, held in support of the Mayors’ Keep the County Clean Challenge. Community members will come together to pick up litter, refresh shared spaces, and show pride in keeping Port Hope beautiful and environmentally healthy. The clean-up begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by a celebratory community BBQ and touch-a-truck at 2:00 p.m. This is a fun and meaningful way to make a direct impact and enjoy some outdoor time with neighbours while doing it.
