About this Event
The Green Lunch Series will delve into topics such as energy, food security, equity and gender, smart growth, land use, transportation, materials, and emerging innovations. Through engaging speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, we aim to explore the positive future envisioned by millions worldwide, with a keen focus on local perspectives and solutions.
Please join us on Tuesday, January 13th from 12:00PM-1:00PM at the Athens Public Library in their large conference room.
Presented by Bob Henninge and Rebecca Dale: A conversation about Currents—an intentional living community in Amesville Township, Ohio, founded in 1981—exploring how a shared commitment to land, friendship, and collective care has sustained original members while welcoming and nurturing new members for more than four decades.
This is a free to attend, brown bag lunchtime discussion. Bring your lunch and join us for the noon hour as we discuss local sustainability efforts!
