About this Event
Join Greek Wine Collective at Nauticus, Leith, for a relaxed afternoon exploring the world of Greek wine - from the sun-soaked island coasts to the high-altitude mountains of Northern Greece.
To celebrate both spring and Greece’s most festive season, we’ll be opening this tasting session with 2 iconic Greek sparkling wines.
Together, we’ll taste six wines, exploring different grapes and styles, with time to socialise and chat in between. Each wine is paired with Greek-inspired bites, designed to show how naturally food and Greek wine work together.
Hosted by a WSET-certified, Edinburgh-born sommelier with Greek roots and over a decade of experience across hospitality and wine in Edinburgh, London, and Greece. Now focusing on sharing her knowledge of the region and bringing the best of modern Greek wine back to Scotland.
What to expect:
- A relaxed, small-group guided tasting in a dedicated private space in the gorgeous Nauticus bar, with shared tables.
6 wines, all from indigenous grape varieties (sparkling, white, rosé + red).
- Light Greek-inspired bites to pair alongside.
- A safe space to ask questions — all levels welcome. Just come curious and ready to taste!
Dietary Requirements:
Please let us know of any allergies in advance. While we may not be able to accommodate every request, we’ll always do our best with notice.
After the Session:
Stay on and be looked after by our friends at Nauticus. Enjoy award-winning cocktails or a locally brewed pint to keep your Saturday going.
