Come gather together along the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum Westside Trail. Learn methods for grateful gathering and ways of working in reciprocity with the site you're collaborating with. Then, take a walk through the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum to identify native plants and gather handfuls for collective ink-making items. Participants will leave with ink-making recipes to try making at home. This is Part 1 of a natural inks workshop. Part 2 takes place June 08, 2024 in which we will be using and trouble shooting our natural dyes.About the Presenter: Heather ‘Bird’ Harris is an artist, history educator, and curator.
