The Vineyard and Winery Technology Program at Yakima Valley College will host the 17th annual Grape to Glass Gala — Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, at 5 p.m. The festive event raises funds for vineyard and winery technology student scholarships.The gala will take place at YVC’s Kaminski Conference Center, 1704 W. Nob Hill Blvd. in Yakima, and will include a dinner, beer and wine tasting, live music and a silent auction.
This year’s winemaker’s dinner will feature a gourmet meal prepared by Chef Roger Hazzard of Bon Vino’s Bistro, with a dessert auction by Scratch Bakery. The 2026 theme — “Pacific Northwest Celebration” —features a dinner paired with wines from YVC’s award-winning Yakima Valley Vintners. A happy hour will highlight beverages created by alumni working at HAAS Innovation Brewing, Tirriddis Sparkling Wines, Wheel Line Cider, McKinley Springs and Côte Bonneville.
Proceeds from the Grape to Glass Gala will support scholarships for YVC wine students and will count toward Yakima Valley College’s inaugural Giving Day. Patrons are invited to extend their support for students in the Vineyard and Winery Technology program by making an additional donation beyond the cost of attendance.
Early bird tickets for the Grape to Glass Gala are $110 per person or $600 for a table of six. Tickets purchased after April 15 are $125 per person. Tickets are available online or at the Yakima Valley Vintners Tasting Rooms in Yakima and Grandview.
