The Institute of Digital Games, in collaboration with the Department of English, is hosting a film and panel discussion event centring on Grand Theft Hamlet (dir. Sam Crane and Pinny Grylls, 2024). The discussion will explore the topic of Shakespeare adaptation through an interdisciplinary lens, with a comparative view that brings different media (digital games, literature, drama, and film) into conversation.The panellists will be: Victor Navarro-Remesal, Ana Beatriz Pérez Zapata, Krista Bonello Rutter Giappone, Daniel Vella, and Ivan Callus.
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q and A, which will open participation to the floor.
The event is free. Academics and students are encouraged to attend. Join us at the Aula Prima, Valletta Campus on Monday 23 March 2026, at 17:30-20:30.
