About this Event
Four compassionate people entered a goat milk factory farm and saved the lives of two baby goats (Phoebe and Celia). The babies were sick with respiratory infections and likely would have ended up in one of the horrific (and illegal) dead piles at the facility. The facility was Vera Goat Dairy, a factory farm that supplies milk for the nation’s largest goat milk brand, Meyenberg, markets itself as “Certified Humane”. The only “humane” thing to ever happen at a Meyenberg supplier was the rescuers saving the lives of Phoebe and Celia!
Meyenberg should be held accountable for the suffering and death they cause to animals. But instead… the people who rescued the goats are the ones being charged.Join us at this week’s Meetup to hear directly from the rescuers who are facing charges!
