About this Event
Join us for the Grand Opening of our latest exhibit, Veils, by local artist Matt Ragen!
“When I was 25, my grandfather shared a family secret with me—something even my mother didn’t know. This series is a visual metaphor for the secrets we keep hidden. Through these images, I explore a deeply personal family history, tracing four generations from my grandparents to my children by focusing on meaningful objects and places. I also reflect on how life might have unfolded differently, using Shoah memorials and historic locations to imagine alternate futures.”
— Matt Ragen
