Grand Opening Announcement – Fab LGBTQIA+ Center

The Fabulous Arts Foundation is proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Fab LGBTQIA+ Center’s new location on April 11th at 925 N Lime Ave in Sarasota.

This new space marks an exciting step forward for the organization and the community it serves. Over the past year, the center has already made a meaningful impact from its previous location providing a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to connect, create, and access support. With this expanded location, the organization is now able to grow its programs and deepen its commitment to community care.

The new center features:

• Artist studios supporting local LGBTQIA+ creatives
• A beautiful gallery showcasing exhibitions and community art
• A flexible event space for gatherings, workshops, and performances
• A dedicated mental health room supporting services and wellness programs

Serving individuals 18 and older, the center blends the power of art and mental health resources to create a space where creativity, healing, and community come together.

This grand opening will also honor the memory of Maddox Weber, a beloved friend of the community who passed away in December 2025. The dream of a dedicated gallery space was something many in the community shared especially Maddox. This gallery now stands as a place where LGBTQIA+ artists can be seen, celebrated, and given a platform to share their work and stories.

As the Fabulous Arts Foundation celebrates 16 years of dedication to the community, this new center represents the next chapter in that journey. The organization remains committed to creating spaces where art and joy come together to help the LGBTQIA+ community connect, inspire one another, and heal.
