Whether it’s churches or nightclubs or music videos these two share a robust love for dance and know it is a unique and powerful conduit for joy, for expression, for connection, for community building and for change.

What to expect (always will be a plan and an expectation to flow with what emerges amongst us at each session):
6-6:15pm arriving (music playing, checking in with your own body, greeting people, having a bite of food if needed, preparing yourself for class)
6:15-7:15 guided warm-up with thematic discussion or sound, creation (might look like learning or creating choreography, improvisation, solo or group prompts, etc)
7:15-7:30 collecting & composing
7:30-7:45 capturing (documenting what we created that day with video for optional reference between sessions)
7:45-8pm departing (optional journaling, connecting with each other, gathering things, etc)
Classes are structured to be accessible for a one-time drop in and also build on each other with repetition of movement phrases and structures to create the performance piece.
