Are you scrambling to get ready for the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC)? This event is tailor-made for procrastinators like you. The Focus Assistants are here to help those who’ve left their conference prep tasks until the last minute. Join us for a relaxed yet productive evening where we’ll help you get organized and ready for the world’s largest gathering of women and non-binary technologists.

In a cozy, casual atmosphere at Indy Hall, we’ll assist you with finalizing your conference schedule, updating your professional materials, and getting into the right mindset. This is your chance to catch up and feel confident before the conference begins.

Professional Headshots:
We’ll have a professional photographer on-site to capture high-quality headshots. This is a great opportunity to update your LinkedIn profile, personal website, or portfolio with a polished and professional image.

This productivity session will be held at the legendary Indy Hall coworking space in Northern Liberties, a short trip from the Philadelphia Convention Center. Enjoy a spacious and well euiped office space with all the amenities you could need. The skyroom on the 4th floor has a beautiful view of center city - a great background for your new professional headshot! (weather permitting)

Feel free to bring along anything that will help you be productive – whether it’s your favorite snacks, beverages, pets, or even a cozy blanket. Please review the Code of Conduct for coworking at Indy Hall to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

Introductions:

• Meet The Focus Assistants and learn about our productivity methodology.
• Meet fellow GHC attendees before the conference starts.
• Grab something healthy to eat from the complimentary salad bar.

Coworking Session:

• Reviewing the GHC schedule to plan which talks and sessions to attend.
• Discovering additional events such as happy hours, networking sessions, and parties around the conference.
• Design and order business cards.
• Get a new professional headshot.
• Update your LinkedIn profile, personal website, or portfolio.
• Refresh your resume/CV, and print copies.
