Got Your Back: The Spine & Mind Retreat


The spine is designed to protect, support, and transmit information throughout the body.

It is a column made of stacked vertebrae with discs in between. These structures absorb force, share load, and allow movement without collapsing. This is what enables us to stand upright while still bending, twisting, and rotating.

Running down the centre of the spine is the spinal cord- a dense highway of nerves that carries signals between the brain and the body in both directions, every second of every day.

The spine is built for balance.
Strong enough to carry weight.
Flexible enough to move freely.

Its natural curves are intentional... they distribute pressure and absorb impact with every step we take.

The spine also adapts to how it is used.
Movement nourishes it.
Stillness stiffens it.
Posture and habits shape its health over time.

Back pain is not only about physical structures.
It is also influenced by the relationship between the mind and body.. how we carry stress, how much load we hold, how flexible our capacity is, and how supported and safe we feel in life.

At its core, the spine is about safety.
It’s about feeling supported.
It’s about having someone, or something, that has your back.

That’s why in this transformative retreat, we move intentionally to explore both the strength and flexibility of the spine, while also uncovering subconscious beliefs around support, protection, and carrying life’s load alone.

This is a one-of-a-kind experience.
