Got Blues Matinee & Jam is hosted by Got Blues (Chris Roumbanis and friends Mike Robicheau & Alan Dowling). Running every Saturday September to June since 2009. The 1st set features a special guest each show. The 2nd set is always an electric blues jam (just show up and put your name on the list).Kevin Fletcher is a blues musician fueled by gritty vocals, slide guitar, piano, and harmonica, blending classic rock, blues, and original songs into a raw, hard-earned sound. His music is shaped by hard knocks, late nights, and a candle burned at both ends, delivering performances that feel lived-in and honest. Equal parts grit and character, Fletcher brings a sharp wit alongside the blues, even earning the 1992 1st Enfield Beavers Comedy Award, a nod to the personality that shines through his songs and onstage presence.
This is Kevin's first guest appearance. We hope you will all give him a warm island welcome. We are totally pumped.
Jim O'Leary is a truly gifted drummer. He has played with many bands on the island and was in a blues band that hosted a matinee for many years in Sweden. He is always at the jam so we thought he would be a great person to fill in for Alan who is away this week.
This is our last show at the Salvadore Dali Cafe. We are moving into the Trailside next week with a new time 1-3pm.
This is an all ages event as long as minors are accompanied by an adult. There is no cover charge. They pass the hat
