ERICA TUCCERI is a Naarm/Melbourne based improvising flutist, composer and producer who sits at the cutting edge of the Melbourne music scene. Erica has collaborated on some of the hottest local vinyl releases (Z*F*E*X, Don Glori, Surprise Chef amongst others; she also released JIN MU on La Sape Records with Ziggy Zeitgeist back in 2021.
Passionate about exploring the evolving role of the flute in
contemporary music, her diverse output encompasses work as a
band leader, collaborator, composer and improviser - hailed as “impressive” (Beat Magazine), and “a remarkable, versatile and engaging performer” (Alex Pertout - Australian Art Orchestra).
DELIVERY BUOY (real name Thom Emery) has quietly honed his craft into the sonically sublime and consistently goosebump-inducing across a surprising variety of directions; common in their pursuit of excellency, purposeful execution, and vulnerability of expression. For over eight years on Whadjuk Noongar Country, Thom’s amassed a diverse catalogue that sits under the broad umbrellas of electronica, ambient, and broken beat jazz, whilst also pulling from experimental and neo-classical influences.
Delivery Buoy's latest LP (titled simply Deliverybuoy) is already a local standout of 2024, boasting luxuriant electronica singles including ‘Star Speaking' and 'Buoy and Girl’ among other more freely wandering, contemplative album cuts. Taking inspiration from astronomy and anime, the project is an epic electronic journey through the cosmos, whilst keeping a close eye on things closer to home.
