FREE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP & YARNING CIRCLE
Workshop 1: Help Shape the Future of Grief Support for Older Australians
10.00am - 11.30am (90 min) - Up to 25 participants (Registration Required)
Have you experienced the loss of a loved one, or are you supporting someone approaching the end of life? We invite older Australians aged 60+ to join a welcoming 90-minute co-design workshop and share your experiences, ideas and insights to help develop an AI-powered grief support app designed for older people.
Your voice matters. The knowledge and wisdom you bring could help create comfort, connection and practical support for people navigating grief, especially when traditional support may be difficult to access. No technical knowledge is needed—just a willingness to share your perspective in a respectful and supportive environment.
As a thank you for your time and contribution, participants will receive a $25 gift voucher.

Workshop 2: Yarning Circle – Sharing Stories, Knowledge and Culture
1.00pm - 2.00pm - Up to 25 participants (Registration Required)
Join us for a community Yarning Circle focused on end-of-life journeys for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This is a culturally safe and welcoming space where everyone is invited to listen, learn and share together.
There is no formal agenda and no allocated seating—just a circle of conversation guided by respect, connection and community. Together, we will explore what end of life means from cultural perspectives, discuss local protocols and traditions, and share best practices for providing culturally safe support to individuals, families and communities.
The session will include opportunities for questions and discussion, allowing participants to learn from lived experiences, cultural knowledge and one another. Whether you are a community member, family member, carer or professional, all are welcome to join the conversation.
