About this Event
Sound baths have traditionally been used in various forms for thousands of years to enhance our well-being and de-stress the body. The sound frequencies and vibrations stimulate the body-mind and help us to bring back a state of optimal health, balance and wholeness.
This happens because the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the body natural rest and restore response, is activated by the sound frequencies and vibrations – brainwaves slow down and we enter in a sort of dreamlike state enabling us to let go, relax and reconnect to ourselves.
The benefits of a gong bath include deep relaxation, mood improvements and stress reduction.
What to bring:
- Yoga Mat (or anything else to lay on the floor)
- Blanket
- Small pillow
- Comfortable, warm clothes & socks
- Eye mask (optional, but recommended)
Note:
This event is for adults only, thanks for your understanding.
Gong baths are not recommended for people suffering epilepsy, heart problems, brain damage, and in the first 3 months of pregnancy.
If you suffer from Tinnitus, please lay down further away from the gong. You could also bring a scarf to position next to your ears and soften the sound, or use earplugs.
Be on time. Entrance: from19:30. Please arrive in good time to set up your mat and be comfortable. To minimize disruption to the relaxation/meditation phase at the beginning of the session we cannot allow any entry once the class begins.
