About this Event
Welcome the Spring Equinox with a gentle Ayurvedic ritual for renewal, glow, and balance.
In this hands-on workshop lead by Arpita, a South Asian Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner, you will learn the basics of Ayurveda’s dosha principles (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and complete a short assessment to discover your dominant traits. From there, you’ll craft your own yogurt and turmeric face mask base.
Once your base is prepared, you will personalize your mask with dosha-supportive botanical add-ins such as hibiscus flower, aloe vera, rose water, brahmi powder, and other plant allies, while learning how each ingredient supports the body, skin, and mind from an Ayurvedic perspective.
In Ayurveda, Spring is a season of awakening, cleansing, and softening the heaviness of winter. This gathering invites you to work with simple, time-honored ingredients rooted in South Asian traditions of natural skin care and seasonal self-care, adapted to the West Coast climate.
Once our masks are mixed and bottled to take home, we’ll settle into 30 minutes of a guided Japa mala meditation, using the 108 repetitions of a mantra to cultivate calm, clarity, and inner steadiness creating a combined home self care practice for inner and outer balance, peace and restoration.
{This Workshop is $54 per person. To save both our registration fees, a Paylink will be emailed to you to kindly complete payment within 24hours of registering.}
