About:
Riley Martin is a jazz guitarist from San Jose, California, now based in Chicago. A graduate of Roosevelt University, where he studied with Henry Johnson, Martin received an Outstanding Performance Awardat Notre Dame’s 66th Annual Collegiate Jazz Festival, presented by Emmet Cohen, Joe Farnsworth, Ruben Fox, and Bruce Harris. In May 2025, he shared the stage with Joe Farnsworth, who introduced him as “a rising star on guitar.”
