About:
Informed by styles including avant-garde jazz, post-bop, and indie rock, the Gabriel Heinemann Trio incorporates improvisation, open-form composition, and melodic interplay into each song. Collaborators Owen Frankel and Jeremy McCabe, fellow Oberlin peers with a shared vision of genre-blending improvisation, bring the music to life with spontaneous interpretation and dynamic interaction. Fresh off their debut album release tour in 2024, they are continuing to develop their unique sound and musical approach.
