About:
Although fairly new to the Chicago DJ scene dill bird is a self-described melomaniac, someone who’s been obsessed with music since before they could walk. Influenced by the meshing of genres and the belief that anything can sound good as long as it has a strong back beat, dill bird is drawn to the sounds of indie sleaze, Brazilian phonk, queer club music, Memphis rap, techno, house, arab funk and countless other stylizations of music. through their set dill bird hopes to create a space where folks can let loose and be reminded not to take themselves too seriously through the mode of dance.
