Join us Friday, April 10th, or Sunday, April 12th, for auditions for our upcoming production of Godspell Jr.! Auditions will be open to ages 9-15, and auditioners only need to attend ONE of the dates mentioned above.
Please note: auditioners are required to bring a document to verify their age.
Audition Requirements:

🌀Choose one of the audition song selections that best suits your child's voice. It is expected that you come with the cut learned and memorized.
🌀Choose one of the short monologues to perform. It is expected that your monologue will be memorized; extra copies of the monologues will not be available at the auditions.
🌀Come prepared to learn and perform a short audition dance combination (this will be taught at the audition): wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you can move in (please do not wear crocs, they are not safe for dancing)
Show Synopsis:
The original Godspell was the first major musical theatre offering from three-time Grammy and Academy Award-winner, Stephen Schwartz, and it took the world by storm. Boasting a score with chart topping songs, Godspell JR. is a sensation that continues to touch audiences.
A group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
