Ready to get your hands dirty? In this beginner-friendly, one-time, 2-hour class, experience the excitement of wheel throwing! Perfect for anyone curious about pottery, this hands-on session will guide you through the basics of centering, shaping, and forming clay on the potter’s wheel. You’ll create your own unique piece, which we’ll glaze and fire for you. No prior experience needed – just come prepared to have fun and try something new! Your finished piece will be ready for pick-up in 4 weeks.
Artist Bio:
Raquel Coburn brings over 12 years of pottery experience to her classes and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics. Known for her expertise and approachable teaching style, Raquel has taught numerous workshops on a range of clay fundamentals and techniques, helping students of all levels find their creative potential. Whether you’re new to pottery or looking to refine your skills, Raquel’s patient guidance makes her classes both informative and enjoyable.
