Join Renegade Theatre Company for our 2025 season opener, Godspell (2012) by Stephen Schwartz. Boasting a score with chart-topping songs, a book by a visionary playwright (John-Michael Tebelak) and a feature film, Godspell is a sensation that continues to touch audiences. - OUR INTERPRETATION -
As we see the rise of Christian Nationalism and fascism in this country, there is a quickly growing need for us to stand up and stand together. This production will be influenced heavily by Atlanta protests and demonstrations, as well as the punk scene. We are excited to craft a production full of solidarity and collective power that comes from community. Our production will take to heart the lyrics “Not thrones and crowns, but men.”

- CAUSE WE’RE SUPPORTING -
As with all of our productions, a portion of proceeds will be donated to a cause we believe in. For this production, we’re raising funds to Lost N Found Youth, an Atlanta-based nonprofit that exists to end homelessness for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ) and all sexual minority youth.

There is free parking available across the street at Virginia Highland Elementary School. There is limited parking onsite at the church. Please plan to take public transportation, a ride share or arrive early to find street parking. We will begin shows promptly, so please plan ahead to be on time.
There are wheelchair ramps and a wheelchair elevator available at all performances. Please email [email protected] if you would like additional details or to request specific accommodations.

- COST OF ADMISSION-
• We offer admission on a "pay what you can" model. We suggest a donation of $25 for folks who are able.
• Donations can be processed in CASH or via VENMO (@RenegadeTheatreCo) at the door.
