Elisa Borelli is the co-founder of Balsamico Italian Kitchen, where she shares her passion for authentic Italian cuisine, fine wines, and the artistry of balsamic vinegar. Born and raised in Modena, Italy, Elisa grew up immersed in the country’s rich culinary traditions, which continue to inspire her approach to food and hospitality.As certified WSET Level 3 Wine Educator, Elisa brings her expertise in Italian and international wines to curated experiences that connect guests with the stories, regions, and people behind every bottle. She has developed and led numerous wine dinners, tastings, and masterclasses—including the restaurant’s signature regional wine journeys and balsamic tasting experiences—making wine approachable, engaging, and deeply connected to culture.Alongside her husband, Chef Michele Borelli, Elisa has created a welcoming space that celebrates the flavors of Emilia-Romagna and beyond. Whether hosting a cooking class, guiding a wine and food pairing, or sharing her knowledge with guests, Elisa’s mission is to bring people together through the joy of authentic Italian hospitality.
