Hey Wellington! New band here.The internet is a bit of a hell-scape now-a-days... so we thought the best way to introduce ourselves would be in person.
You might already know some of us from other bands we've played in like Lizard Prom, Into Orbit, Opium Eater or any of the other various rock and metal bands we've been part of over the years. We started jamming together and Gnarling mid last year, and have been writing a set of songs drawing from our wide ranging influences from shoegaze and alt-rock to noise and black-metal... so the sound is a bit hard to pin down, but so far most of it is gloomy, doomy and atmopsheric.
And where better to share that gloomy doominess with you than at Wellingtons gloomiest and doomiest veune, Valhalla? As luck would have it, we're putting on a totally FREE show at Valhalla on Thursday 29 January along with two other fantastic local acts, Western Haikus (Screamo) & Serenna (goth/post-punk) who have kindly agreed to give up their Thursday night for us.
Doors will open at 8pm and Serenna will kick off the night at 8.30.
