Join us, as we celebrate The 125th Anniversary of the Glasgow Theosophical Society. On Saturday the 6th of December, we will gather to mark a long and cherished tradition of weaving together art, symbolism, and the quest for deeper understanding. As well as fascinating talks by best-selling, local author, Louise Welsh, and David Treanor, arborist, author of "The Dear Green Place”, and champion of The Argyle Street Ash, 2025's UK Tree Of The Year. The anniversary features an exhibition showcasing the rich history of the society, here in Glasgow, and globally. The exhibition honours the Society’s enduring influence on Glasgow’s cultural life and reaffirms the continuing relevance of Theosophical ideas in nurturing creativity and contemplation.
Curated by Avi Lago, Vice President and Librarian, and Colin Thomson, National Treasurer of Theosophical Society Scotland, with contributions from Louise Welsh, and, local artist, Julia Jeffrey.
We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating 125 years of the Glasgow Theosophical Society — a truly momentous occasion honouring more than a century of spiritual inquiry, service, and fellowship in the heart of Glasgow. ~ Visitors, on the 6th are welcome to join us for the whole celebration, or to attend the talks, and exhibition only.
