Mardis Gras are celebrating ‘Ecstatica’ this year - celebrating connection, community, and collective queer joy as a powerful, euphoric movement!
Our theme this year is ‘It's Good to Feel Good’.
No where do we see the scope of human emotions more than in healthcare. And amongst the mounting challenges and hardships felt by patients and healthcare workers alike, we want to take time to appreciate the good times. We want to remind you that even in the dark times there are opportunities to feel good. We are doctors and healthcare staff coming together to support you and facilitate hope through pride.
🌈🧠✨Our mind is beautiful and has the capacity to release so many feel-good chemicals that give us wonderful emotions such as happiness, excitement, joy, anticipation, connection and love. We want to remind you that no matter what life throws at us, that taking a moment to feel good, is good. ✨🧠🌈
Taking a moment to come together, to celebrate now, we the doctors and healthcare staff want to give you hope in our united front for pride.
We will hold rehearsals on the following dates:
Saturday 14th Feb 4pm
Thursday 19th Feb 6:30pm
Sunday 22nd Feb 4pm
Wednesday 25th Feb 6:30pm
Thursday 26th Feb 6:30pm
Friday 27th Feb 6pm - followed by Safety Meeting at 7pm
It is highly recommended that you attend at least two of them. We understand if you are coming from out of town and can't make it.
