Jazz@Park Lane - The newest and coolest jazz venue in Göteborg! Right at the cultural ground zero at Götaplatsen beside the city theater, museum, concert hall et c on Kungsportsavenyn 38. The famous night club "Park Lane" in collaboration with Göteborg Jazz Orchestra and Wauxhall Jazz sets a new standard for jazz in Göteborg.We keep paying tribute to the music and traditions that inspires us and so many others. Thad Jones is probably the most influencial composer and leader in Big Band jazz of today and has really set the bar for generations to come.
Main act starts at 19.00, opening act starts at 18.30.

GÖTEBORG JAZZ ORCHESTRA is one of the most exciting movements in Swedish jazz. The big band has made a rocket career and in a short time established on the highest level. In their love to music they always look for new expressions and they attract collaborations with the best musicians - domestic and abroad. They often reach over the genre barriers with new formats.

Tonight presenting Dino Big Band!
Dino Big Band is a Gothenburg-based big band, run by young musicians. Dino's repertoire is largely written by members of the band, the arrangements vary in both style and composition but are shaped by a common desire to broaden and develop the big band genre. Dino Big Band wants to contribute something new that is missing on the big band scene and hopes to offer the Jazz@Park Lane audience something they have never heard before!
They will perform as opening act starting at 18.30
