Gitarsong, also known as Tim Gitarsong Jordan, has carved a unique niche in the music world through his extensive exploration of guitar-based genres.
Since his early days in the 1970s and 1980s, performing with major label bands Forest Green and The Ladder, Gitarsong has consistently pushed the boundaries of his musical capabilities.
His music spans Rock, Pop, Soul, R&B, Funk, Fusion, Blues, Groove Jazz, and World Grooves, reflecting a rich tapestry of influences and a passion for diverse sonic landscapes.
Known for his versatile guitar skills and soulful vocals, Gitarsong's music is both innovative and rooted in tradition. And The Groove is always central to his music.
Since the 1990s, Gitarsong has produced 13 original albums. In 2025, Gitarsong released his latest album, "I Sing the Groove Acoustic”, which features acoustic guitar and vocals. It is a celebration of Soul, R&B, and World Grooves. The album was produced and performed by Gitarsong, and mastered by multiple Grammy Winner Andy Kravitz.
"Gitarsong will perform a solo acoustic set, and then he will be joined onstage by Rick Prince (Laura Mann, The Allstars, Lance Quinn) on bass and Tommy Geddes (Craig Bickhardt, Laura Mann, JD Malone) on percussion/drums for an electric trio set. Many of Gitarsong’s original songs from his latest album will be featured, along with covers by Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, James Brown, and Johnny Nash.
